Dianna Lunsford 

Dianna Lunsford has been an occupational therapist (OT) for over 30 years and a certified hand therapist (CHT) for 25 years. Dianna earned her post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy in 2012 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She has worked in a variety of settings and is currently a Professor and Program Director for an Occupational Therapy Doctorate at Gannon University, Ruskin, Florida. Dianna has been a part of the International Committee for the American Society of Hand Therapy (ASHT) since 2015. Dianna is passional about advancing the profession forward through scholarship as the senior editor for the ASHT Times, an occasional editor for several peer-reviewed journals and through conducting and publishing original research with collaborators. Most recently, Dianna completed a first edition textbook on leadership and management for PT and OT as co-editor and author.

Dr. Patricia Meyers

Dr. Patricia Meyers is an Associate Professor and Director of the Division of Occupational Therapy at American International College, USA. She received a BS in Occupational Therapy from Boston University and a Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. She has extensive clinical experience in the area of outpatient occupational therapy treating clients with acute and chronic upper extremity orthopedic, neuromuscular and cumulative trauma disorders. She has specialized in industrial rehabilitation and industrial and office ergonomics. Her clinical experience encouraged interprofessional collaboration, which she believes has positively influenced her practical application in the classroom. This experience has also contributed to her interest in interprofessional education (IPE) as a component of student curriculum. Dr Meyers incorporated her belief in the value of IPE to assistive technology, where occupational therapy and engineering students have collaborated on project designs which resulted in a United States Patent. Her interest and research in IPE have led to publications as well as local, national and international presentations related to this subject matter. Her interest in program development and curriculum design intersects with her belief in providing quality and meaningful educational experiences where students are participatory and supported throughout their academic endeavors.
